About Michael
Michael grew up in Plainview, New York, and attended Plainview–Old Bethpage John F. Kennedy High School, where he focused his studies in the visual arts. A Promising Artist Scholar, Michael matriculated to the University of the Arts, formerly known as the Philadelphia Museum School of Art, from which he graduated in 2002 with a BFA in graphic design and a minor in digital fine arts. In addition, he completed a workshop in letterform design with distinguished instructor André Gürtler from Basel, Switzerland.

Michael lives in Simsbury, Connecticut with his wife, Tracy, and two sons, Caleb and Ethan.
He enjoys the outdoors, whether he is working on the latest backyard project, hiking or biking with his family, or volunteering his time to the Simsbury Youth Sports organizations.
